Grande Real Villa Italia hotel, that overlooks the Portuguese coast in Cascais, has opened its door to the public on 1st March 2007 and has already won a prize as the best touristic project in 2007. Surrounded by an extraordinary scenery on the sea front, next to “Boca do Inferno” in the bay of Cascais, the project combines the residence of the last King of Italy Umberto II and the Pinto Basto family. Trend’s materials are the protagonist of this establishment and they perfectly combine with the spirit that the Grande Real Villa Italia embodies: to revisit the classical style with a modern view in order to create a contemporary and comfortable environment.A composition of Trend multicoloured glass mosaic tesserae covers the surface of the floors, the walls, the monumental Hall, the wellness area, the lift and the rooms, making unique chromatic and decorative effects. The new architectonical proposals adopted and the original decorative solutions, thanks to a mixed and combined use of Trend’s material and a manic attention to details, combine neoclassicism, luxury and comfort and they include firmly all the ingredients for a “regal”stay.
